Title: Outside kitchen
Post by: muddy tires on February 15, 2018, 12:58:42 am
Hi, we went to the Toronto RV show a few weeks ago and saw quite a few nice units.  However we really like our current outside kitchen and not having that in our new trailer will be a show stopper.  But we are also past the stage of needing a bunkhouse.  So ... anybody know of a non-bunkhouse 5er with outside kitchen (fridge, sink, burner)?    Thanks.

That is a great floor plan!  If you are still searching around, Heartland has a few offerings also.  I believe they are in the Gateway line.  Not sure they will have a better layout than that Reflection though.  Enjoy the search!

Something I have become more aware  of that may or may not apply ..... Is access to certain things when slides are in.....

For example if your travel plans have you overnighting along the way in a rest stop or parking lot ......access to fridge when slides are in may be of importance .....

I don't do it often ..... But when I have .....it would have been nice .... Just something else to potentially be something of interest in looking ....

Couldn't agree more here. We always check to make sure we can access all important storage areas with slides closed. Some trailers make it impossible. It isn't an issue if you never travel more than a few hours, but for those of us that do long hauls (or might want to in the future) access to the fridge, dry goods and bathroom can be really important.

Thanks.  Those are great floorplans.

And good tip on access with slides still in.  A few times it would have been nice to eat inside when weather has been bad but would have to deploy our rear bed to set up the table.  (Outback 26RS).
