Acadia

Hiked the precipice trail today. Unfortunately for the falcons, their nesting did not happen so the trails are open. What a great hike. Looking forward to others before the trip ends.

Thanks for the tips. We will definitely be scheduling a return trip in the future. Way to much to do, even in a full week.

Looking over some trails for tomorrow. Did you ever do Jordan cliffs?

I would have to look at my Acadia map.....I know there is an easy route to bubble rock and then a harder route on the Jordan pond side..... But not sure what that's called

We have done all of the Cadillac trails
Beehive, precipice, dorr ladder, perpendicular (mansell my)
Acadia my trail, St Sauvier, pemmetic, beech mt trail , hadlock Brook trail, sargent trail

Dorr Mountain was nice. Great workout. Lots of steps. Thanks for the tip. Tomorrow we will stay on the southwest side and do perpendicular and Acadia. We leave Thursday so that will wrap up the trip.

Perpendicular Is a good one as far as steps and work out .....but not a sceenic....unless you head east to the next peak and then have views ....

If you haven't done it .....the St. sauvier is a good hike on South West side and provides great scenery overlooking the sommes sound

We did the St. Sauveur trail loop today. Nice trail with great views. I really wish I had time to do Jordan cliffs. Some locals here ranked at a close 2nd to precipice trail saying it is one of the most underrated trails in the park. Enjoy your trip. I will be following.

I feel the same way about the west face of Cadillac .....one of the best trails ....

We met some locals that use the perpendicular for hiking training .....but to me that trail was more that.....as it has less scenery....safe travels

I regret not doing any of the Cadillac mountain trials but there was just not enough time. I also had to leave something for the next trip. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Great pics. I brought my GoPro on the trail as well but the end video looked like hell. I must be like a bobble head doll. The video would make you vomit from motion sickness.
