Predator 3500
« on: January 16, 2020, 12:02:22 pm »
Last year over Memorial Day Tina and I bought a Predator 3500 Inverter Generator from Harbor Freight.

It runs for about 11 hours at 50% load. I went and purchased an external tank with marine hose and modified gas cap for the Predator.
The current gas tank in the generator is 2.4 gallons. The 3 gallon eternal tank extends my run time significantly at 50% load and at worst, running fully loaded I am back down to about 11 hours or so.

The generator is perfect for campgrounds as it is rated at about 57 DB. If you are not sure what that is, Tina and I can have a conversation in a normal voice literally standing on either side of it while its running full load. I have a Youtube video (Same screen Name!) that I did on the set up and then a matrix of the amperage for each one of the loads in the camper.

We are going to get a second one and parallel them to run everything in the camper.

 Maybe this Memorial Day!

If you're thinking about getting one, I would say you should do it!!
