2nd Annual Acadia National Park Rally 8/21/2011 - 8/28/2011
« on: January 16, 2011, 12:52:53 pm »
Hello, Just wanted to let everyone interested know that a few of us will be heading to Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Me. This is listed on 2 different sites, so if you are planning on attending or have reserved a site, please email at the address given below and I can update everyone at once.

We will be staying at Smugglers Den CG from Aug 21-28.  http://www.smugglersdencampground.com

I have secured a discounted rate for the sites listed below anf for the dates of the rally. $265 for the week, includes W/E/S/Cable/Wifi

When reserving, please call Rain at Smugglers Den from 10am-4pm Monday thru Friday. Please direct all questions or concerns to me and I will get them resolved or answered.

Some of you may know or may have heard of the infamous hosts of the Wolfwood Estate/CG/Resort in southern NH, have been gracious enough to once again offer their "yard with W/E" to anyone who would care to stop for a break in driving or what typically turns out to be an unforgettable evening. Please let me know, if you are interested in taking advantage of this and if needed we will note it on the front page.

Here is the current list as reconciled by Smugglers and has been updated on the front page.

That would be an awesome trip. I grew up in New England and would spend a lot of time bumming around in Maine. It is beautiful country up there and Acadia National Park really is something to see.

Well I have 20 sites reserved. Call Rain and tell her you are with the Acadia Rally and she will hook you up. We got a discounted rate of about $265 for the week. W/E/S/Cable/Wifi. I will up date the O/P when we get some sites booked and add to it as we go.

We can't wait for this trip! ;D We missed it last year :'(  Will try to make a reservation today.  It's over 13 hrs from where we live so we're planning on staying over night at Salisbury Beach campground in MA.  Has anyone ever stayed there or heard anything about it?

We haven't stayed at that CG, but, this will be our third trip to Acadia and we stay at Shore Hills and Moorings. Shore Hills is pretty big and Moorings is small but on the ocean. Both nice places to stay.
